Lijun Wang
Hi ! My name is Lijun Wang (汪利军). I am a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Biostatistics at Yale University, advised by Prof. Hongyu Zhao.
Previously, I earned my Ph.D. in the Department of Statistics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Xiaodan Fan. In 2021, I had the privilege of being a visiting scholar in the Department of Statistics at Harvard University, where I collaborated with Prof. Jun S. Liu.
Before pursuing my Ph.D., I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Statistics from School of Mathematical Sciences, Zhejiang University in 2018. I was also honored to minor in the Advanced Honor Class of Engineering Education (ACEE).
Research Interests
My primary research interests involve developing statistical approaches to address real-world problems, from analyzing single-cell omics data in genomics to studying star formation in astrophysics.
